I saw them first. I noticed them first. They were crying tears of pain and
sorrow. I gave them a dollar and their eyes lit up.
The next day I was crying. Budget cuts, Taxes. Life is hard. Hard. Hard.
Hard. Hard. Then my eyes lit up. “Mom!” I shout. “We have to share!”
Its Thanks giving Day and we’re sharing our feast with hundreds of
homeless people. It feels great! I feel like flying.
